Some essential terms

Architect. A human player. You are an Architect.

Block Explorer. Your character on the map. Wanders autonomously. Direct it with a Send.

Collection. A set of related properties that, when completed, grants a UPX bonus and a permanent earnings multiplier.

Commerce Score. Measures a neighborhood's economic strength through Office Structures and reciprocal bonds between neighborhoods.

FSA (Fair Start Act). Properties reserved for newer players (net worth below 100,000 UPX). Cheaper, ideal first buys.

Influence Score. Measures how attractive your neighborhoods are to potential residents.

IPU. Iconic Parody Uppie. The rarest tier — created by merging two Level 10 Uppies.

KYC. Identity verification. Required for USD withdrawals and voting.

Legit. A collectible NFT with permanent ownership. Includes sports licenses (FIFA, NFLPA, F.C. Porto, AFA), seeds, and themed items.

Metaventure. A player-run shop. Sell items, earn revenue, build a brand inside Upland.

Mint. To become the first owner of an unminted property.

Recipe. A combination of Troves that, processed at a service structure, produces a higher-order good Uppies request.

Resident Score. Tracks how many Uppies live on your properties. Updates every 24 hours.

Send. A directed move that sends your Block Explorer to a specific property.

SPARKLET. Upland's resource/utility token. Powers building, manufacturing, fuelling vehicles, seed generation, and Metaventures. Tradable outside Upland as an ERC-20 on Ethereum and Base.

STEM. The dedicated Life currency. Account-bound, non-tradable. Keeps plants, farming, and animals accessible.

Trove. A fungible in-game item produced by structures, plants, fishing, animals, and trade routes. Used in Recipes.

Uplander. The status tier at which you gain permanent ownership of your assets.

UPX. Upland's in-game transactional currency. Fixed rate: 1,000 UPX = $1 USD. Not tradable outside Upland.

Upland Appchain. Upland's dedicated, transparent blockchain. Records property, structure, Uppie, and transaction data. Public block explorer at ledger.upland.me.

Uppie. A digital resident. Lives on properties, has personality, requests goods, levels up through merging.
