Your Block Explorers Are Ready for Their Next Adventure

In our earlier Block Explorer utility announcement, we introduced the direction. Now, let’s get into how stamina will work when Troves arrive, what you will be able to see in your wallet, and how to prepare your collection.

Your Collection, Ready to Explore

Stamina is the capacity your Block Explorers bring to Trove gameplay. Collecting Troves across the map will use stamina. As you play, your available global stamina will decrease. Receiving Trove Dust also uses stamina, so a collection that yields dust still counts toward that activity.

Each Block Explorer contributes stamina toward your global total. Rarity helps determine that contribution, making the collection you hold in your wallet more meaningful in everyday play.

The Block Explorers you hold in your wallet contribute to one global stamina total. Your available global stamina determines how much you can collect at any given time. You do not need to switch between explorers to use it: your collection contributes to a shared pool, giving the explorers you own a direct role in how much you can do.

Every player starts with a baseline of 100 stamina per day, giving everyone the ability to participate in Trove collecting. The Block Explorers you own add additional stamina capacity to your global pool, allowing you to collect more as your collection grows.

These initial stamina values are a starting point. We’ll be monitoring gameplay and player activity after launch and making adjustments over time to ensure the system remains balanced, rewarding, and fun for everyone.

A Fresh Start Every Day

Stamina refills every 6 hours starting at 5 PM PT (00:00 UTC). This is a shared daily refill, rather than a separate countdown that begins whenever you use an explorer.

Use some or all of your available stamina throughout the day, then return after the refill with your explorers replenished and ready to go again. The daily rhythm gives you a clear way to plan your collecting and crafting as you work toward your next goal.

See What Your Explorers Can Do

You will be able to keep track of stamina without guessing:

• Your profile and the top-left display: check your overall Block Explorer stamina.
• Asset Wallet → Block Explorers: see each explorer’s maximum stamina and how much remains.
• An individual Block Explorer’s full-screen view: inspect its stamina alongside its asset details.

When inspecting another player’s Block Explorer, you will see its maximum stamina, not its current remaining stamina. That distinction matters when buying or swapping explorers: the displayed maximum tells you its capacity, not how much is available immediately.

Transferring a Block Explorer does not refill its stamina. If an explorer has already used all of its stamina, its new owner will need to wait for the next refill. Selling or swapping it does not create a fresh supply of stamina.

Stamina Is the First Step. Modifiers Come Later.

We are continuing our exploration of Block Explorer modifiers as a future expansion of this system. Stamina establishes the foundation; modifiers are planned for a later stage and will not be included in the initial stamina release when Troves arrive.

Our goal is to give explorers more individual character in gameplay, with differences that go beyond how much stamina they bring. As shared in our initial announcement, we are exploring ideas such as advantages when collecting particular types of Troves, interactions with service structures, and benefits tied to collecting a full series.

These are directions we are exploring, not finalized abilities or guaranteed bonuses. Specific effects, eligible explorers, collection requirements, and timing will be shared as that work develops.

There is more we want to build here, and your feedback will help shape it. For now, the next step is getting your Block Explorers ready for their role in Troves.

With just five mints, Trove Core joins the ranks of Upland’s rarest Block Explorers, contributing one of the highest stamina amounts in the game to your collection’s global stamina pool.

And we’re thinking even bigger for Terraformers. As we develop future Block Explorer modifiers, Terraformers are among the explorers we’re considering for some of the most unique and interesting gameplay abilities.
