Welcome to Upland’s Retro Boom
June 25, 2026

This week’s Service Structures lineup brings two kinds of neighborhood energy together: match-day celebration for the World Cup and a full step into Upland’s 1950s Retro Genesis Season style. From a flag stand built for fans to a bakery, arcade, and senior home with classic mid-century charm, this drop gives players more ways to make their blocks feel social, nostalgic, and alive.
These Service Structures will be available starting Wednesday, June 24 at 9 AM PT. As always, all structures are available to players with Uplander status and above. No registration is required. Service Structures generally remain in the store for roughly 4–6 weeks before rotating out, and once a player purchases one, it will disappear from that player’s store.
The Totally Official Cup Flag Stand
Every great match needs flags, colors, chants, and at least one fan who is completely certain this is the year. It is a perfect fit for stadium districts, busy plazas, festival streets, and any block that needs a little more global fan energy. (Entertainment, 1 Service Units)

Neon glow, cabinet rows, pinball sounds, and the unmistakable feeling that one more quarter will definitely be enough. The Atomic Arcade adds a retro 1950s entertainment stop to Upland, giving Uppies a lively place to play, gather, and bring some old-school fun to the block. For players building entertainment corridors, teen hangouts, downtown strips, or nostalgia-heavy districts, this one brings real personality. (Entertainment, 3 Service Units)

The Atomic Oven Bakery brings a warm 1950s retro bakery to Upland, giving Uppies a cozy everyday destination with classic small-town charm. It is a natural fit for main streets, residential corners, diner-style districts, and any neighborhood that needs a little more sweetness in the air. (Essentials, 3 Service Units)

The Starlight Senior Home brings 1950s retro warmth to Upland with a community-focused senior home where elder Uppies can settle in, socialize, and stay connected to daily neighborhood life. It is a meaningful public service anchor for family-friendly districts, residential communities, and players building places that feel complete, cared for, and lived-in.
