It’s time to deck the halls with boughs of holly, hang the mistletoe, break out the tinsel, and put up winter gnomes. Upland’s Candy Cane Lane Challenge is here! This challenge determines which community node is the most festive across all of Upland  – so grab a neighbor and start decorating your property with some holiday cheer!

The Candy Cane Lane Challenge starts Friday, December 23 at 9:00 AM PT and ends on Tuesday, December 27 at 9:00 AM PT. If you aren’t in a community node, this is the perfect time to find your favorite neighborhood. With a little community holiday spirit and planning, you and your neighbors can host the winder holiday parade, win awesome prizes, and bragging rights heading into the new year!

Candy Cane Lane Challenge Details

The Candy Cane Lane Challenge Leaderboard will be based on the variety and number of winter-themed structure ornaments and outdoor decor for each node. At the end of the challenge, players will vote on the top five community nodes on the Candy Cane Lane Challenge Leaderboard to determine the best node for the season!

The nodes that do the best job of teaming up with their community members to display their Festive Holiday Structure Ornaments and Outdoor Decor will have the best chance of winning.

To participate in the challenge, players can use any Winter Ornaments from 2022 or 2021, including UNICEF Brazil Holiday Ornaments and Outdoor Decor

Note: To qualify, players must be an official resident of their neighborhood. If you have yet to designate an Upland Home Address, this is a great time to pick a node to call home!

Prizes

Players who are residents in the top neighborhood will each receive .01 Spark for each Ornament applied to a structure in the node up to a maximum of .05 Spark per person.

Also, the top-ranked neighborhood will get a parade designed by the Upland team in their node! The next two runner-up neighborhoods will also be eligible for rewards. Players in the second-place neighborhood will each receive 20,000 UPX, and players in the third-place neighborhood will receive 10,000 UPX.

Note: Players must have an ornament applied and be a resident of the neighborhood to qualify.
