As the leaves begin to turn and the air takes on a crisp new energy, Harvest Season 2025 arrives with a spirit of transformation, not just in the world around us, but within Upland itself. This season marks the return of Gamified Earnings Missions, but that’s just the beginning.

With the long-anticipated rollout of Residents and Phase 1 of Life features also landing this season, change isn’t coming, it’s already here. The choices you make now will shape your path in the evolving Upland landscape.

Why Weekly Missions?

We’re keeping it weekly because earning boosts should be earned, not stumbled into by chance. This format rewards the most active players, those who plan, log in, and put in the effort to complete each mission on time. If you’re committed to chasing the highest yields, you should get them.

Weekly missions make sure that only those truly engaged can reach the top.

  • New Missions Announced each Monday
  • New missions begin every Tuesday at 9 AM PT.
  • The completion deadline is the following Tuesday at 7 AM PT.
  • Only the current week’s two missions can be completed, missed missions cannot be recovered.

The Completionist Badge, an exclusive reward for players who complete all gamified earnings missions in a season.

Why Complete Missions?

Completing missions boosts your future property earnings. The more you complete, the more your yield multiplies in the next season:

  • Complete any 5 of the 10 missions to earn a 14.7% yield
  • Complete all 10 missions for the maximum 15.2% yield

Week 1 Missions (Oct 7 — Oct 14)

  1. Homegrown Hustle — Begin construction on 3 different types of Living Structures anywhere in Upland.
  2. City Services — Begin construction on 3 different types of Service Structures anywhere in Upland.

Note: Only progress made during the mission window (Tuesdays at 9 AM PT to the following Tuesday at 7 AM PT) will count toward completion.

What Are Gamified Earnings?

Gamified Earnings are designed to supercharge your property earnings in Upland. By completing seasonal missions, you can earn increased multipliers that carry over into the next season. The more missions you complete, the bigger your earnings boost for the following season!

How Gamified Earnings Work

The earning increase in Upland is structured around the completion of tasks, providing a clear incentive for player activity and engagement through a series of tiered rewards. Here’s the breakdown:

  • 1 Task Complete (Multiplier 1.2x): Starting off, completing just one task applies a 1.2x multiplier to the earnings, resulting in a 5.88% annual earning.
  • 2 Tasks Complete (Multiplier 1.5x): Advancing to two tasks completed increases the multiplier to 1.5x, which boosts the earnings to 7.35%.
  • 3 Tasks Complete (Multiplier 2x): Completing three tasks further escalates the multiplier to 2x, enhancing the earnings to 9.8%.
  • 4 Tasks Complete (Multiplier 2.5x): Four completed tasks amplify the earnings with a 2.5x multiplier, reaching 12.25%.
  • 5 Tasks Complete (Multiplier 3x): This pivotal level, achieved by completing five tasks, maximizes the regular reward with a 3x multiplier, culminating in a 14.7% earnings.
  • 10 Tasks Complete (Multiplier 3.1x): For the utmost dedication, completing all tasks for the season activates a 3.1x multiplier, the highest tier, elevating the annual earnings to an exceptional 15.2%.

Gamified UPX earning introduces a forward-looking reward system where tasks completed in the current season determine the UPX earnings for the following season.

For example, tasks completed during Harvest Season will set the earning rate for the upcoming Wonderland Season. Similarly, activities undertaken in Frost Season will influence earnings for the next season, and so on.
