The Season Pass Just Got an Upgrade: Wildcards, Fusion, and Block Explorers

With Wonderland Season 2025, we’re taking the first step in a larger effort to bring more long-term value to Upland’s Season Pass.

This isn’t a full redesign. We’re keeping everything players already enjoy, the seasonal cosmetics, the once-per-season burn, and the sense of flex that comes with account-bound rewards. But starting now, we’re building on that foundation with a few focused additions.

Each one is designed to make the Season Pass feel more rewarding, more consistent, and more meaningful for players who stick with it from start to finish.

Weekly Cosmetic Drops

One of the most requested changes from previous seasons was a more predictable, consistent cadence for cosmetic rewards. So starting this season, pass holders will receive one specific cosmetic drop every week.

There’s no randomness and no bundles, just one handcrafted item delivered each Tuesday to anyone who has activated (burned) their Season Pass.

Key Details:

• One cosmetic per week (6 total)
• Snapshot time: Tuesdays at 7 AM PT
• Cosmetics are account-bound and non-tradable
• If you miss the snapshot, that week’s item is gone

Each week, a snapshot of eligible players is taken at 7 AM PT on Tuesday. Only players who have activated their Season Pass (burning it) by this time will receive that week’s cosmetic drop as well as a special badge for the season.

A single pass burn per season is sufficient to secure all subsequent weekly cosmetic items.

Mission Wildcard Token

This season introduces a Mission Wildcard Token, a one-time-use feature included with every Season Pass, designed specifically for players chasing Wonderland Gamified Earnings Completionist status.

If you miss exactly one weekly Gamified Earnings mission during the season, the Wildcard will automatically apply at the end, keeping you eligible for the Completionist Block Explorer reward.

This is not a shortcut to earnings thresholds. It won’t help you hit the five-mission minimum for general Gamified Earnings rewards. It only protects your Completionist run by giving you credit for one missed weekly mission, nothing more.

How it works:

• Included with every burned Season Pass
• Applies only to weekly Gamified Earnings missions
• Automatically activates if you miss exactly one weekly mission
• Does not apply to season-long Residents or Influence missions
• Does not count toward the 5-mission earnings requirement
• One-time use only

It’s a small safety net, designed for Completionists who stay active all season, but might need a buffer if one week gets away from them.

Completionist Block Explorer

To recognize players who see the entire season through, we’re adding a new Completionist reward: the VaporWave Wonderland Completionist Block Explorer.

If you burn and activate your Season Pass and complete all Gamified Earnings missions (Wildcard included if needed), you’ll receive this exclusive Block Explorer at the end of the season.

This is a permanent reward that shows you didn’t just join the season, you finished it.

Wonderland 25 Fusion Pass

The ultimate test of a true Wonderland collector, assemble all four unique characters and unlock the special Wonderland Fusion Pass.

Whether you’ve kept them in your wallet or burned, as long as all four characters are in your account by Thursday, January 8th at 9 AM PT, you’ll qualify. This fusion isn’t just cosmetic, it boosts your season collectors score and becomes another jewel in your Upland collection.

• Deadline: Thursday, January 8th at 9 AM PT
• Requirement: All four characters must be in your account at snapshot time
• Hold Time: Keep them for at least 24 hours after the deadline to qualify

Looking Ahead

The changes in Wonderland Season 2025 are just the beginning. Our goal is to make Season Passes more rewarding and worthwhile over time and this season’s upgrades are the first step in that direction.

As we learn what works and what players value most, we’ll continue to evolve the format.
