The Next Evolution of Scavenger Hunts Has Arrived — Dive into the Genesis Week Multi-City Challenge!

For the first time ever, the newly released Scavenger Hunt game mode is stepping into the spotlight as an official Genesis Week contest, and it’s bringing a whole new level of challenge and exploration to the Upland metaverse.

This isn’t just a rehash of past events. These hunts will span multiple cities, rely on exclusive in-game clues, and are powered by Upland’s brand-new simplified travel feature and POV view. Originally introduced during Blossom Season, scavenger hunts are now fully evolved, transforming Upland properties into a massive, interactive puzzle that rewards knowledge, strategy, and exploration like never before!

Over the next week, three unique scavenger hunts will roll out, each lasting 24 hours. Many clues will lead you to different cities, where simplified travel becomes essential to stay in the game.

How It Works

At the start of each hunt, players will be teleported free of charge to the first city by clicking the prompt in the event window. From there, you’ll follow a trail of in-game clues to uncover specific properties across Upland. Guess correctly to unlock the next clue, miss, and it’s back to the map to reassess and try again.

What Is the Upland Scavenger Hunt?

This is not your typical treasure hunt. Players will solve a trail of visual and textual clues — featuring images of Upland properties, structures, and map assets — all pointing to specific in-game locations. Think “GeoGuessr meets Upland”, but this time, it’s all about Upland properties. No Google Maps. No outside tools. Just your knowledge of Upland and your detective skills.

How to Join

Register using UPX in the Treasure Hunting tab from the Quick Menu. Just tap the globe icon, choose the starting city for the hunt, and enter the event.
