The Genesis Challenge Returns: Compete,

A cornerstone of Genesis Week in Upland, the Genesis Challenge is back, and it’s bigger than ever. This high-energy competition brings together everything that makes Genesis Week unforgettable: dynamic gameplay, exclusive prizes, and a chance to etch your name in Upland history.

From Monday, June 9th at 9 AM PT through Thursday, June 12th at 12 PM PT, Uplanders will earn points by participating in a variety of in-game activities. The more you engage, the higher you climb the leaderboard, and the greater your chances of winning incredible rewards.

How It Works

Throughout the week, every point you earn brings you closer to exclusive rewards and a shot at the Genesis Week Grand Prize Giveaway, featuring the one-of-a-kind Sunflower Seed Nursery. Plus, three daily drawings will give 25 lucky winners per day a chance to snag 25,000 UPX just for staying active.

Points are earned by completing designated in-game actions (see chart below), and there’s no cap on how many you can collect. Every point counts as an entry into the challenge and helps you rise on the leaderboard.

The leaderboard will go live right here as soon as the competition begins, check back to track your progress and see how you stack up against the rest of Upland’s top competitors.

Genesis Challenge Rewards

The top 200 players on the final leaderboard will receive unique prizes:

Top 10: A property in the Genesis City Opening
Top 200: Exclusive Block Explorer
Daily Drawing Winners: 75 total winners (25 per day) will receive 25,000 UPX

Note: In the event of a tie on the leaderboard, placement will be determined by a random draw.

Earn a Badge of Honor

Players will also unlock Genesis ’25 Badges based on their point totals:

Level 1: 300 Points
Level 2: 600 Points
Level 3: 1000 Points

These badges serve as a lasting reminder of your Genesis Week efforts.

Grand Prize Giveaway Entry

There are two ways to secure an entry into the Genesis Week Grand Prize Giveaway, where one lucky player will win the highly coveted Sunflower Seed Nursery:

Finish 1st on the Leaderboard — automatic entry
Final Daily Drawing Period — one winner selected from entries during the last window
