Starter Service Structures Arrive as the Resident Era Begins

Earlier this week, we revealed one of the biggest announcements in Upland history: Residents officially arrive this Harvest Season! For the first time, residents will be able to move in, settle down, and start living in the cities you’ve helped build!

To kick off this new chapter, we’re unveiling something brand new, Starter Service Structures, a permanent addition to the Upland Store designed to help every player, new or old, get ready for the arrival of residents.

This comes on the heels of another major reveal: the upcoming Construction Hub, a brand-new marketplace coming to Upland that will enable players to build structures that others might not have access to. With this new hub on the horizon, Volume 12 isn’t just a drop, it’s your chance to lay the groundwork for a fully living, breathing Upland.

Starter Service Structures

For the first time ever, we’re launching permanent Service Structures in the Upland Store. These aren’t part of a timed drop, they’re here to stay.

Available under the Extras tab for UPX, Starter Service Structures offer a low-barrier entry point for new and existing players to begin building neighborhoods that are ready for Residents. Whether you’re expanding your footprint or starting fresh, these structures will never leave the store, making them a reliable foundation for long-term growth.

Coffee Stand
