Madrid Evolution Serves Up the Mantequeria

City Evolution returns to Madrid this week with a major expansion into five new neighborhoods: Costillares, Castilla, Valdezarza, Valdeacederas, and Almenara. The release also introduces Valdezarza, a new Standard Collection, and the all-new European Modular Apartments: Mantequeria Edition.

This week’s Madrid Evolution Pack includes a 10% chance of receiving a Collection property. The Deluxe Pack also introduces another much-needed middle structure for European modular builds. With plenty of corner pieces already available but fewer middle structures to connect them, the Mantequeria is a big addition for builders who want to create longer, more complete street-facing developments.

Neighborhoods

Five new Madrid neighborhoods are opening with this release:

• Costillares
• Castilla
• Valdezarza
• Valdeacederas
• Almenara

These additions expand Madrid’s footprint with fresh areas for players to explore, collect, and develop.

Collections

This release introduces one new Collection:

Valdezarza (Standard)

Both the Madrid Standard Pack and Madrid Deluxe Pack have a 10% overall chance of containing a Collection property from Madrid. That property may come from any qualifying Madrid Collection and is not necessarily from the new Valdezarza Collection.

Collection properties are not guaranteed in every pack.

The only way to get this structure in the current release is through the Madrid Deluxe Pack, making it a standout addition for players looking to bring more everyday character to their European modular builds.

The European Modular Apartments: Mantequeria Edition brings a traditional neighborhood provisions shop to Upland’s European streetscape, with a welcoming storefront on the ground floor and residential space above.

More importantly, the Mantequeria is another middle structure for the European modular lineup. Builders already have plenty of corner pieces, but fewer middle structures to connect them. This addition makes it easier to extend street-facing designs, bridge corner buildings, and create larger modular developments that feel complete.

Like all Modular structures, this build is fully modular and can be combined with other European Modular Apartments to create larger, customized developments. This structure is region-locked to European cities.
