Frost 2026: Upland Championship Racing Shifts Into High Gear
February 02, 2026

The engines are revving and the stakes are higher than ever. Frost 2026 marks the next chapter in Upland Championship Racing, and it all begins now!
This season, Upland continues its partnership with the Ultimate Racing League to deliver the most competitive and community-driven racing experience to date. With a fresh format, collectible Racing Pass, and a prize pool fueled by racers and Upland alike, Frost 2026 is built to push the limits.
What’s New This Season?
Frost 2026 brings key updates aimed at refining the competitive balance and deepening the strategic layer of Upland Racing. From adjustments to the Max Performance Score (MPS) to the return of Team Racing, these changes are designed to make the season more dynamic, inclusive and competitive.
Whether you’re racing solo or with a team, these new features ensure every race counts and every decision matters.
Increased MPS Limit — To promote fairness and create amore competitive environment across all vehicle types, the Max Performance Score (MPS) limit for Championship Racing has been increased to 260. This update is designed to bring more balance to the track by allowing a wider variety of cars, including special edition models, to compete on a level playing field.
This new MPS cap gives racers the flexibility to tune their builds with both vehicle performance and power-ups in mind. Whether you choose to run a high-performance car or reserve MPS for strategic boosts, every decision will impact your race outcome.
We will continue to monitor the impact of this change throughout the season and make adjustments as needed to maintain competitive balance and an exciting experience for all racers in future seasons.
Team Racing Returns — Alongside individual competition, Team Racing is back. Teams of four can now compete together, with individual championship points contributing to the overall team score.
To participate, a team leader must purchase an additional Racing Pass and submit team information to Racing Commissioner Masschef in the official Upland Racing Discord. Each team will need five passes in total, one for each team member and one for the team itself.
Team competition runs through the entire season and culminates in a final race and team prize during Genesis Week 2026!
Register, Race, Rise to the Top
This isn’t casual cruising, this is Championship Racing, where skill, speed, and strategy lead to real rewards.
To compete in the Frost 2026 Racing Series, players must purchase the new collectible Championship Racing Pass from the Upland Store for 30,000 UPX. This pass is more than your entry, it’s a limited-edition keepsake and your all-access ticket to the full five-week season.
A snapshot of all Racing Pass holders will be taken on Thursday, February 5th at 9 AM PT. Only those holding the legit at that time will be eligible to race.
Once you’re registered, you’re in the running for weekly qualification rounds and the season’s top prizes. While anyone can register, only the top 18 fastest qualifiers each week advance to the finals, where leaderboard points and championship glory are on the line.

This is a professional-level league, and the rewards reflect that. All registration UPX goes directly into the season’s prize pool, creating a lucrative purse that’s split among the top performers at the end of the season!

Commissioners will be coordinating all championship races and live shows, ensuring that this remains a structured, competitive, and community-driven experience. New commissioners may be added over time, depending on the needs of the league.
Each week, racers will compete live in the Weekly Racing Stream, hosted by the Racing Commissioners. These live shows bring the action front and center, complete with commentary, results, and leaderboard updates for the entire community to follow.

Championship Format: Skill Meets Strategy
Each season of the Upland Racing Circuit spans 5 weeks of competitive racing, followed by a Championship Final in Week 6.
Racers compete weekly to set the fastest time on a track designed by the community and selected by the Racing Commissioners. Points are awarded based on finishing position each week, and those points determine who advances to the Season Championship.
Each season’s finals will unfold at an iconic Upland monument, this season the Frost Season LusailMonument Speedway in London will host the finals.
To qualify and compete each week, here’s how it works:
- Each week, a new community-designed track is featured.
- Racers compete to set their fastest time during the Thursday to Monday qualifying window.
- Qualifying is open from Thursday at 9 AM PT to Monday at 9 AM PT.
- Racers can run the track as many times as they want, only their fastest time will count toward qualification.
- The top 24 fastest drivers qualify for that week’s competition.
- Points are awarded based on weekly performance. These points accumulate over the course of 5 weeks and determine who advances to the Season Championship.
- Top 12 racers at the end of each 5-week season advance to that season’s Championship Final in Week 6.
Winners of each Season Championship earn points on the official Championship Series Leaderboard. These points accumulate across all five seasons of the year and determine who qualifies for the Genesis Week Grand Final, the ultimate race for Upland’s top racers!
Championship Racing Rules
- Max Performance Score (MPS) Cap: All races are limited to MPS 260 to ensure balanced, competitive racing.

- Qualifying Phase: Runs Thursday 9 AM PT through Monday 9 AM PT on a track chosen by the Racing Commissioners.
- Eliminations: The 6 slowest qualifiers are eliminated. The top 18 advance.

Remember, you can purchase Power Ups from the secondary market and they’re also available in the store every Thursday.
With MPS limits, the choice will be yours on how to approach a race. Do you go full throttle with a high-performance car or select a lower MPS vehicle to make room for power ups? This balance between raw power and tactical finesse ensures that every race is a thrilling and strategic challenge.
