Catch Cupid Challenge

Oh no! Adorable Cupids wearing nothing but their undies are flying free and are wreaking havoc across Upland! They're sending out love arrows in 10 cities, and it's up to us to stop them! We need players to help catch all the mischievous Cupids before they make everyone fall in love!

There are new Competitive Tier Treasure Hunts coming to rally players to help catch the Cupids before these undie-wearing menaces make Valentine’s Day very, very awkward. Starting Tuesday, February 14 at 9 AM PT, there are three new competitive Tier Treasure Hunts in 10 Upland cities. Launch a hunt. Catch the Cupids, win prizes, and stop Upland from catching a serious case of the love cooties.

While catching Cupids, players will earn some UPX and points for the Catch Cupid prize drawing. Who knows, maybe you’ll come away from the drawing as a winner of the Cloud Cupid or Heart Cupid. You could also find yourself among the players who top the leaderboard, in which case you’ll be awarded the top prize, the Golden Cupid!

Catch Cupid Challenge Details

We need players to help catch the Cupids by locating them in treasure chests in 10 cities, starting Tuesday, February 14 at 9 AM PT and ending Friday, February 17 at 9 AM PT.

The cities are:

  • Chicago
  • Arlington
  • Detroit
  • Queens
  • Brooklyn
  • Staten Island
  • San Francisco
  • Santa Clara
  • Oakland
  • Porto

To catch the Cupids, players will join the three new Competitive Treasure Hunts spawning in each city. Each of the three hunts has different Cupid treasures to find, and players will receive small UPX rewards for each Cupid found, as well as a chance to win a Cupid Block Explorer!

Three different Cupids are hiding out. Take a look! 

‍

  • Cloud Cupid:  Finding this Cupid will reward players with a small amount of UPX and three points for the drawing when the challenge ends. Be careful! This one has an array of love arrows!
  • Heart Cupid: Finding this little guy rewards players with greater UPX and five points for the drawing when the challenge ends. If you’re lucky enough to capture the Heart Cupid, don't be fooled by its adorableness, it'll have you head over heels in no time! 
  • Golden Cupid: The Golden Cupids are the hardest to find and are the leaders of the pack! Finding these baby-faced archers rewards players with 50 points for the drawing and a bit of UPX!

Challenge Leaderboard 

The Cupids are on the move! Finding them keeps Upland safe, gives players entries for the giveaway, and helps players climb the Catch Cupid Challenge Leaderboard! Check back on this post during the challenge for leaderboard updates. 

Rewards

Players will need to search high and low to find the Cupids. Each Cupid found gives players points – these points become drawing entries for the Cupid Block Explorer Drawing.

Players are welcome to compete in hunts across all 10 cities to earn more entries for the giveaway drawing while also receiving UPX rewards. There will be a drawing for two Block Explorers: the Heart Cupid and Cloud Cupid. Also, the top 200 players on the Catch Cupid Challenge Leaderboard will receive a Golden Cupid Block Explorer as a trophy!

Note: Players can only win one of each Block Explorer for this challenge.

Lookout, Upland! Cupids are on the loose, and it’s up to you to rescue the cities from their volley of arrows. Join the fun, be a hero, and help save the day! If you do, you’ll be rewarded with something special for Valentine’s Day.

Jump in and catch the Cupids around the 10 Upland Cities for your chance to win rewards. Let’s make sure we all have a happy Valentine’s Day, and that Upland stays Cupid-free.
