Construction Hub Challenge: Compete for 2M UPX and Exclusive Prizes

The Construction Hub has officially arrived in Upland, and it’s time to put it to work.

To celebrate the launch, we’re kicking off the Construction Hub Challenge, a week-long event encouraging players to create and fulfill construction contracts across Upland. The event begins Friday, March 6 at 9:00 AM PT and runs through Friday, March 13 at 9:00 AM PT.

During the challenge, players will compete for a share of 2,000,000 UPX in rewards, along with exclusive collectibles, including the Construction Hub Challenge Block Explorer, Champion Badges, and 100 Uppies awarded through random draws.

A live leaderboard (that updates every 2 hours) is now available allowing players to track rankings throughout the event. Only new construction contracts created or fulfilled starting at 9:00 AM PT on March 6 will count toward the challenge.

Whether you’re posting jobs or helping other players build, every contract completed during the event earns you points and a chance to win rewards.

How It Works

Players will earn points by participating in Construction Hub contracts throughout the event. The more you build and collaborate, the more points you’ll collect.

Ways to Earn Points:

  • Create a construction contract: +1 point
  • If your created contract gets fulfilled: +1 bonus point
  • Fulfill a construction contract: +1 point
  • Create or fulfill a contract in a new city (first time per city): +1 bonus point

Each point earned also counts as one entry into the random prize drawing, giving active builders even more chances to win.

Variety Bonus

Players can also earn a bonus for interacting with different building models during the contest.

  • Create or fulfill a contract for a new model type (first time per model): +1 bonus point

This bonus is awarded once per model type per player, encouraging players to participate across a variety of builds rather than focusing on a single structure.

Example

  • Create Bus Stop contract → +2 point (First build)
  • Create another Bus Stop contract → +1 point
  • Create Fire Station contract (first time) → +2 points (+1 contract +1 new model bonus)
  • Create another Fire Station contract → +1 point

Each point earned also counts as one entry into the random prize drawing, giving active builders even more chances to win.

Rewards

There are two ways to win rewards during the Construction Hub Challenge. Players who climb the leaderboard by earning the most points will secure exclusive prizes, while everyone who participates also has a chance to win through the random prize drawing. The more contracts you create and fulfill, the more points, and prize opportunities, you’ll earn.

Leaderboard Rewards

The top 25 players on the leaderboard at the end of the event will receive an exclusive Construction Hub Digger Block Explorer.

The top 3 players will also earn a Construction Hub Champion Badge, recognizing the most active builders during the challenge.

Note: In the case of a draw the winner will be selected randomly by the Upland Team.

Random Prize Drawing

Players who participate in the challenge will also have a chance to win through a random prize drawing. Every point earned during the event counts as one entry, so the more contracts you create and fulfill, the more chances you have to be selected.

Random Draw Prizes

  • 9 Winners: 45,000 UPX each
  • 100 Winners: 1 Uppy each (Gen 2 or Uorigin)

Whether you’re competing for the top of the leaderboard or simply contributing to construction across cities, every contract completed moves you closer to a potential reward.
