City Evolution: Queens Unlocks Properties and the New East Coast Modular Structure

City Evolution is moving full speed ahead, and the spotlight now turns to one of New York City’s most iconic boroughs: Queens. We’re excited to announce the long-awaited release of previously locked properties in this historic city, alongside the exclusive debut of Upland’s newest Mixed Use structure: the East Coast Modular Apartments: Pharmacy.

These properties were held back for over a year as part of our City Lock program, and their release marks the first step in reintroducing locked cities in a more measured and accessible way and players can expect more unlocks to come as evolution packs in the future.

This marks a key moment for builders and urban planners eager to grow their presence in one of Upland’s most vibrant boroughs.

As part of our ongoing City Evolutions approach, we’re reintroducing 1,800 previously locked properties in Queens, a curated selection from the over 12,000 total properties in the borough.

These properties have been unavailable for over a year, and this focused release represents a fresh opportunity for players to expand in Queens at a more sustainable pace. To keep things accessible, no collection properties are included in this release.

Both bundles will be available in limited quantities in the Upland Store, with sales running over the weekend. Unsold properties will be removed at the end of the sale and reintroduced in a future drop.
