Boat Sale: Skiffs, Speed Boats, and a Shot at the Fishing Yacht

Update April 10th 2026: Boat Sale Schedule Change

We want to inform everyone of an important update to the upcoming boat sale.

During a recent maintenance window, an issue occurred that caused players who had registered and secured a spot in line to lose their position once maintenance concluded. Unfortunately, those original queue positions cannot be recovered.

To ensure a fair and equal experience for all players, we have made the decision to delay the sale and reopen registration.

New Schedule:

  • Registration Opens: Sunday, April 12 at 9:00 AM PT
  • Sale Begins: Monday, April 13 at 9:00 AM PT

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience. Additional safeguards have been implemented to ensure this issue does not happen again.

Please note: Any previously listed sale or registration times in this article are no longer valid and have been superseded by the updated schedule above.

The marinas have been claimed. The docks are ready. Now it is time to put something in the water. A new Boat Sale is rolling out with three bundles covering everything from a quiet solo cruise around the bay to the kind of rig that turns heads the moment it leaves the dock. Whether you picked up one of the recent marinas or you are still hunting for one on the secondary market, this drop has something built for the way you play.

Registration opens Thursday, April 9 at 9 AM PT. The Sale goes live Friday, April 10 at 9 AM PT. All three bundles are available to players with Uplander status and above.

Why Boats Matter

As Upland continues to expand its gameplay systems, boats are set to play a key role in unlocking a new layer of exploration arriving later in 2026. With the introduction of fishing and the broader Trove system, players will be able to venture onto lakes and oceans to discover and collect valuable resources. Fishing will only be possible by boat, making vessel ownership essential for participation. Where you choose to explore will directly influence what you find, as different water zones, from shorelines to deep ocean, will offer distinct types of fishtroves that shift over time.

Fishing is designed to be more than a standalone activity. It connects directly to Upland’s evolving economy and progression systems through Troves, account-bound items used for trading, crafting, and completing objectives. Fish troves will vary in rarity, with higher-value catches requiring deeper exploration and more capable boats. Players can decide whether to fish themselves, or pick them up at a related service structure, or focus on reaching more advanced areas. With both fishing and troves launching later in 2026, boats will become an important strategic asset for players looking to engage with this next phase of Upland’s development.

No Marina? No Problem.

Here is the part that changes everything. Boats in this sale do not come with a marina. If you already own one, great, your boat is ready to deploy from it the moment it lands in your wallet. If you do not have a marina yet, you have two ways to still jump in.

You can grab one off the secondary market before or after the sale. Or you can take advantage of a brand new feature and hold the boat in your wallet until you get a marina of your own. Your boat stays safe, waiting for the moment you are ready to sail. This is the first time we have opened up a vehicle sale this way, and it means nobody gets locked out just because the marina they wanted went to someone else.

Skiff Bundle

Small, simple, and exactly the right starting point for Uppies getting their first taste of the open water. The Skiff is the boat you take out when you want a quiet trip around the harbor, a slow ride along the coast, or just a chance to say you finally own one. It does not need to impress anyone. It just needs to float, and it does that beautifully. For anyone who has been waiting to plant a flag on the water without going all-in, this is your entry point.

Each bundle grants one Skiff Boat. The Skiff must be housed at a marina and can only be deployed from a marina property.

Price: $50 USD
Quantity: 200

Speed Boat Bundle

This is where it gets loud. The Speed Boat is built for Uppies who want to cut across the bay with the throttle wide open and leave a wake that rearranges the water behind them. It is the boat that turns a lazy afternoon into a full story. And here is the twist that makes this bundle worth watching. Every Speed Boat bundle guarantees a Speed Boat, but there is a small chance you pull a Fishing Yacht instead. Same price, completely different tier of rig. A single lucky unlock could completely change what is parked at your dock.

Each bundle grants one Speed Boat, with a small chance of receiving a Fishing Yacht instead. The boat must be housed at a marina and can only be deployed from a marina property.

Price: $100 USD
Quantity: 105

Pilot House Bundle

The Pilot House is the most serious boat in the drop and the one the coastline actually respects. It is the boat you take out for real trips, the one with presence on the water, the one that makes a dock feel like an actual destination. It also carries the highest chance of pulling a Fishing Yacht of any bundle in this sale. And even if the Pilot House is what you walk away with, you are still walking away with the flagship of the lineup.

Each bundle grants one Pilot House Boat, with a higher chance of receiving a Fishing Yacht instead. The boat must be housed at a marina and can only be deployed from a marina property.

Price: $150 USD
Quantity: 55

Ready to Set Sail

With 360 boats total across all three bundles, this is your chance to get a boat and prepare for the future. Pair that with the Fishing Yacht chance on two of the tiers and the new wallet-hold flexibility that lets everyone participate whether they own a marina or not, and this sale is shaping up to be one of the most active launches on the water all year.

Register Thursday. Buy Friday. See you on the bay.
