As racers gear up for a season of intense competition, we’re introducing a few important updates aimed at streamlining gameplay and making the race to the top more competitive than ever.
What’s New
To simplify the racing experience and keep competition tight, we’re making the following changes:
- Staking Points Update: This season, points for staking have been removed across the board, except for one player category.
- Reduced Stake Value: That remaining category now maxes out at 500 UPX staked per player, per category.
These adjustments are designed to promote fairer play and open the door for more racers to compete at higher levels. As always, we’ll monitor the impact of these changes and make future updates as needed.
Blossom Season Overview
The Blossom Racing Season is packed with action, from multiplayer races to leaderboard battles and high-stakes finishes.
Start Date: Tuesday, April 1st, 9 AM PT
Leaderboards Close: Wednesday, May 7th, 9 AM PT
Finals: Friday, May 9th, 11:30 AM PT
The top 12 racers from the Championship Circuit (175–240 MPS) will advance to the semi-finals and finals, where only one will emerge victorious.
Congratulations to everyone currently on the Championship Circuit leaderboard. The current standings are as follows:

Power Ups and MPS
This Blossom season, Power-ups will be fully integrated into your Max Performance Score (MPS) and live on day 1. These boosts add layers of strategy, allowing you to customize your approach and dominate the track.
With MPS limits, the choice will be yours on how to approach a race. Do you go full throttle with a high-performance car or select a lower MPS vehicle to make room for power ups? This balance between raw power and tactical finesse ensures that every race is a thrilling and strategic challenge.

MPS Leaderboards:
The Blossom Season Leaderboards are designed to create thrilling competition for racers of all skill levels, whether you’re chasing championship glory or battling it out in recreational races.
- 175–240 (Upland Championship Circuit)

Only public races with qualifying laps will count towards points on the leaderboards. Below is how you earn points throughout the Wonderland Season for each of the leaderboards.
Only public races involving three or more real-life participants will be eligible for points during the season. The more players your race against, the more points you get.
- Race against 2 other real players: +1 point
- Race against 3 other real players: +3 points
- Race against 4 other real players: +5 points
- Race against 5 other real players: +10 points
Points for Staking
For staking points, the more you stake, the more you can win, with points awarded to the top three finishers in each race. There is now only 1 level of race for stakes players can utilize to earn points during the season.
500 UPX Staked Per Player
- 1st Place: 5 points
- 2nd Place: 3 points

Again, only public races with stakes with at least 3 or more real players that include a qualifying lap will be eligible for leaderboard points. Races outside these amounts won’t qualify for multiplayer or staking points. Additionally, all community fees will be added to the prize pool for the leaderboard victors.
Leaderboards will close on Wednesday, May 7th, at 9 AM PT, with the leading 10 racers on each leaderboard being awarded prizes.
The top 12 from the Championship Series leaderboard (176–240 MPS) will advance to the finals on Friday, May 9th, at 11:30 AM PT. This round will feature two semi-final races followed by a final race to determine the winners.
These top performers will earn points for the Upland Championship Circuit leaderboard and will help determine who will participate in the Champions Circuit Finals during Genesis Week2025(more details below).
Each season’s finals will unfold at an iconic Upland monument, this season the Blossom Season Monument speedway in NYC will host the finals. The Ultimate Racing League will host and broadcast the finals, showcasing the pinnacle of Upland’s racing landscape.
Rules for Finals
- 12 racers in 2 heats of 6 will try to qualify for the finals.
- Finals Heats are determined by finishing place.
- Odd numbers, 1,3,5,7,9,11 will drive in heat 1
- Even Numbers, 2,4,6,8,10,12 will drive in heat 2
- Each race will include a qualifying lap to determine starting positions.
- Top 3 finishers from each heat will move on to the final
- In the event someone errors out of the race in the heat races, players can try to rejoin, if unable to control their car on a rejoin, then players are given the place that they finish with the driverless car ( likely last in the heat)
Prizes
The top 12 racers in each leaderboard will receive prizes, with special unique badges for Championship Series (176–240 MPS) top three finishers. These rewards not only recognize achievement but also fuel the competitive spirit of Upland’s racing community. Both the badges and Block Explorers will count toward your Seasonal Collector’s Score, helping you build your collection and showcase your achievements.
Remember, racers may only appear in the top 12 on one leaderboard. Players who place in the top 12 on multiple leaderboards will only receive prizes from their highest-ranking leaderboard and will be removed from all others.
As a reminder, we’ve updated racing badges to make them more consistent and identifiable! Going forward, all racing badges will feature a standard gear shift emblem without the year. Instead, your badge will display an increasing number for each top 3 finish you earn, showcasing your dedication and success as a racer in Upland.
To maintain consistency, all previous racing badges will be replaced with this new design. Get ready to build your legacy on the track!
