Blossom Garden Decor Challenge: 5 Plants. 5 Assets. One Blooming Property.
May 11, 2026

Blossom Season is all about growth, and now it is time to show what that looks like on your property.
Last season, the Frost 5 Challenge proved that constraints can unlock incredible creativity. With only 5 map assets, Uplanders turned simple properties into memorable scenes. This time, we are bringing that same creative constraint into Blossom Season, but with plants at the center of everything.
Welcome to the Blossom Garden Decor Challenge.
Your challenge is simple: use up to 5 plants and up to 5 supporting map assets to create one plant-focused property scene. No packed properties. No endless decoration stacks. No advantage for having the biggest inventory. Just one property, one structure, 5 plants, and the supporting pieces you choose to help them shine.
This is not about who can place the most. It is about who can make a property feel alive.
The Challenge
Create a Blossom Season build where plants are the clear centerpiece.
Think gardens, courtyards, patios, parks, cozy green spaces, neighborhood entrances, or any scene where Life in Upland feels like it is taking root. Your supporting map assets should help frame the plants, tell the story, and make the property feel like a place other players would want to walk past, visit, or remember.
A small garden with great composition can beat a busy property with no focus. A simple courtyard can stand out as much as a full showcase if the scene feels intentional. When every placement counts, creativity takes the lead.
The Rules
- Use one property you own in Upland.
- The property must include one structure.
- Place up to 5 plants.
- Use up to 5 supporting map assets.
- Plants must be the clear focus of the build.
- No additional ornaments, decorations, or extra placed items beyond the 5 plants and up to 5 supporting map assets. You may use fewer than 5 supporting map assets, but you may not use more than 5.
- Entries will be judged primarily in POV Mode.
- Your build should tell a visual story tied to Blossom Season, growth, gardens, or Life in Upland.

Why 5 Plants?
Because constraints create art.
Anyone can fill a property with unlimited decorations. It takes real vision to make 5 plants feel like the heart of a scene. Every placement matters. Every supporting asset has a job. Every angle needs intention.
Blossom Season is about growth, but growth does not always mean more. Sometimes it means choosing carefully, placing thoughtfully, and turning a simple space into something that feels alive.
Judging
All eligible entries will be reviewed by the Upland Team. We will be looking at:
- How well the 5 plants anchor the scene
- Composition and use of space
- Creativity with limited assets
- Visual storytelling
- Blossom Season theme fit
- Originality
- How the property feels in POV Mode
Top-down screenshots can help show the full layout, but POV Mode is where the challenge will be judged. This is about the street-level experience, the kind of build that makes another player stop, look around, and want to visit.
Prizes
5 plants. 5 winners. Clean and simple.
- 1st Place: 200,000 UPX
- 2nd Place: 125,000 UPX
- 3rd Place: 75,000 UPX
- 4th Place: 50,000 UPX

Show Us What You Can Grow
The Frost 5 Challenge proved how much creativity can come from a simple limit. Now, Blossom Season is your chance to take that idea somewhere new.
With just five plants and a few supporting pieces, you can turn a property into a garden, a gathering place, a quiet corner, or a scene that feels like it has been growing there all along.
Build with intention. Frame your plants. Tell a story that feels alive.
Tag @UplandMe, use #BlossomGardenChallenge, and submit your entry before Thursday, May 14 at 9 AM PT.
We are ready to see what takes root across Upland.
